Michelin Guide Ceremony
In March 2026, the Principality hosted a truly star-studded evening. The Grimaldi Forum Monaco played host to the Michelin Guide gala, at which the Guide unveiled its awards to an audience of 1,200 people gathered in the heart of the Principality. The evening reaffirmed the obvious link between Monaco and the famous red guide. In a place dotted with Michelin-starred restaurants and driven by a shared vision of excellence, the partnership seemed a natural fit.
Festival des Etoilés
The Principality and Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, Europe’s most star-studded resort, organise an annual event that can easily be described as a gastronomic constellation: the Monte-Carlo Festival des Etoilés. The concept? Unique collaborations between the Principality’s Michelin-starred chefs and prestigious guests: multi-starred duos combining two talents and culinary visions to create four-handed dinners at exceptional venues. On 13 May, Marcel Ravin kicked things off alongside Glenn Viel, before orchestrating another event on 23 July with Christopher Coutanceau. In the meantime, Dominique Lory and Christophe Moret joined forces on 22 May, whilst Yannick Alléno will welcome Gérald Passedat on 13 June and Martino Ruggieri on 19 September. On 23 September, Alain Ducasse and Björn Frantzén are already promising a spectacular event, ahead of the traditional closing gala on 14 November.
Salon de la Gastronomie
This is a well-known event for food lovers, held every year under the Fontvieille Big Top. It is a much-anticipated event in the heart of a Principality where the gourmet scene is celebrated from January to December. Every year, the Monte-Carlo Gastronomie fair showcases the finest gourmet producers, offers visitors the chance to sample a variety of exceptional products, and also organises cooking competitions for adults and children.
Superyacht Chef Competition
Chefs from superyachts over 40 metres long competing in a culinary contest? It’s all happening in Monaco as part of the Superyacht Chef Competition! This annual culinary competition forms part of ‘La Belle Classe Academy’, the Yacht Club de Monaco’s training centre, and aims to celebrate fine dining at sea. Competitors must create the best dish and face a panel of experts.
Chokolashow
The Chokolashow continues to delight art and food lovers in the Principality. Following a first edition dedicated to Formula 1, the event – which combines chocolate creations and ephemeral art – is already preparing for its third edition in 2026. An original concept that transforms cocoa into true works of art, raising funds for Monegasque charities.
