Between the Nice Carnival and the Menton Lemon Festival, the thousands of spectators who come to watch these unique events are sure to be smiling for a fortnight, with traditional flower battles and illuminated parades on one side and boisterous corsos and ephemeral citrus fruit sculptures on the other...
The Lérins Islands
This is an outing the whole family will definitely enjoy! Located off the coast of Cannes, the islands of Lérins reveal their elegant silhouettes on the horizon. A veritable jewel of the Mediterranean, these islands are a corner of paradise where the flora and fauna have been preserved. Just 15 minutes away by boat, the islands of Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Honorat offer a complete change of scenery, each with its own atmosphere. The former attracts walkers who can wander along its paths, and even boasts an underwater eco-museum that is freely accessible by swimming, while the latter, occupied by the monks of the Lérins Abbey for centuries, offers vineyard and wine days: an ideal place to recharge your batteries and relax.
The Biot glassworks
For decades, the charming village of Biot has enjoyed an international reputation for its glassmaking . This truly unique art form, which has become the symbol of the village, attracts visitors thanks to the expertise developed over nearly 60 years by Eloi Monod. Parents and children alike will be immediately captivated by the precise gestures and techniques used by the glassmakers. In these workshops, you can watch the glass take shape before your very eyes, to the rhythm of the cane wielded by the craftsman working in the heat of the furnaces. A must-see!

Le Bois des Lutins, in Villeneuve-Loubet, is an amusement park offering a multitude of games for children aged 3 and over, as well as for adults. Toboggan runs, observation huts, a sea of nets, a troll village, accrobranche (tree climbing)... the inspirations are endless at the heart of this magical park!
AntibesLand and Koaland
AntibesLand, the largest amusement park on the Côte d'Azur in Antibes, welcomes the whole family, from the most cautious to the most intrepid, in a magnificent setting that only the Riviera can offer! In Menton, Koaland unfolds its attractions for children in the heart of a park that belonged to the princely family in the 17th century. Made up of hundred-year-old trees, Koaland is a friendly park with a range of amusements to suit everyone, offering moments of relaxation close to the sea for all the family, with the possibility of eating out on site.
Cycle path on the Riviera dei Fiori in Italy
The beauty of the landscapes of the Côte d'Azur can also be seen on the other side of the border, in Italy, which can be reached in just over 30 minutes by car. On the Italian side, the coastline is dotted with authentic little villages, beaches and coves. Here, you and your family can enjoy the Riviera dei Fiori cycle path, which stretches along 24 km of Mediterranean coastline and passes through a number of Italian seaside resorts, including San Remo. From the start point in Ospedaletti, you can hire bikes for adults and children, and even Rosalie bikes, so the whole family can enjoy the ride together!
Sentier des Douaniers in Cap d'Ail
A treasure trove of over 3 km, the Sentier des Douaniers de Cap d'Ail (Cap d'Ail Customs Officers' Path ) unfolds after passing the port of Fontvieille, the port of Cap d'Ail and Plage Marquet. A seaside setting as unspoilt as it is magnificent, with a blend of exotic species, dream villas from the early 20th century and geological and historical curiosities that will delight even the youngest visitors. This is where you'll find what was once one of the most beautiful palaces on the Côte d'Azur: the Eden Palace. Greta Garbo, Winston Churchill and Sacha Guitry all enjoyed staying here when they visited the Riviera.
Tour of Cap Ferrat
This short walk, starting from the charming village of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, takes you around this peninsula that never ceases to offer breathtaking panoramas of the Mediterranean. Here, superbly laid-out gardens stand side by side with lush natural flora, between limestone cliffs and sharp reefs. Allow a good two hours to complete this walk and enjoy it with the whole family.
Cap d'Antibes tour
Another cape, another tour, this time to Antibes! It's a 5-kilometre, 2-hour walk along the Mediterranean, where limestone cliffs mingle with deep coves and prestigious villas nestling in green oases of Aleppo pines, centuries-old olive trees and exotic species.
The Grande Corniche departmental park
A veritable terrace overlooking the Mediterranean. Perched more than 500 metres above sea level, yet only 2km from the coast as the crow flies, the Parc de la Grande Corniche spreads its 712 hectares of greenery and paths over the communes of La Trinité, Villefranche-sur-Mer, Eze and La Turbie. The park offers accessible walks with stunningly beautiful panoramas, from the Italian coast in the west to the Var coastline in the east. Plateau de la Justice, Fort de la Revère, Cime de la Forna: the many sites in this park are perfect for walking, picnicking and having a great time with the whole family!
