The Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival

January is the month when the Principality celebrates its festival, with the Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival, a famous and renowned ring of stars! Alongside the New Generation Festival, which brings together the best up-and-coming talent, the Circus Festival has been delighting audiences of all ages for half a century, thanks to its incomparable atmosphere and exceptional, hand-picked acts.

The attraction fair

Every year in October at Port Hercule, just as the days are getting an hour shorter, Monaco brings light to the hearts of families with the Attractions Fair. For a whole month, the Principality comes alive with bumper cars, ghost trains and barbe-à-papa! It's a chance to get together with your family and spend some quality time surrounded by the unique atmosphere of the funfair.

The Christmas village

The festive season is fast approaching, and with it its magic and fairytale world... As every year, Port Hercule is the setting for the Christmas Village and its very special atmosphere. There are plenty of places to relax and eat, as well as entertainment and activities for young and old.

U Sciaratu

Attend a Carnival parade during the summer season... it's possible in Monaco! U Sciaratu, which means "rowdy" in Monegasque, has become a not-to-be-missed summer event. The carnival takes the streets of the Rock by storm for a popular celebration featuring a parade of floats, street parades, varied entertainment and musical troupes, all between the Place de la Mairie and the Place du Palais!

Summer entertainment in Port Hercule

The Port Hercule is also the place to be in summer, with a host of activities on offer from1 to 25 August. Sporting and fun attractions for young and old, shaded relaxation areas planted with trees and shrubs, stalls for gourmet breaks, the summer activities in the heart of the Principality will reveal all their talents for the whole family!

Music Festival

One of the longest days of the year is celebrated to the sound of music in many countries, and Monaco is no exception! Music is celebrated in all four corners of the Principality. From small open-air concerts in the heart of the city to more intimate events and the traditional grand concert organised on Port Hercule, a whole programme has been put together to satisfy the curious and music lovers alike in the various districts of Monaco, and to see the children get their groove on!

Fireworks and drone show

Lighting up the skies and the eyes of children with grandiose shows is an unforgettable experience! Young and old alike can admire the spectacular fireworks displayed off Port Hercule, as well as the luminous drone shows that light up the Monegasque sky above the Prince's Palace. These magical events offer moments of joy and wonder for all the family.

Events at the Condamine market

Located in the heart of the Principality, the Condamine market is part of Monaco's heritage. It represents the popular heart of the Principality, where the Monegasque population loves to meet up. With its large flat area and playground, it's also a family-friendly place par excellence. Throughout the year, themed events are organised where families love to get together. A typical southern market spirit!

Youth workshops at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco

From theory to practice! That's what the Grimaldi Forum Monaco is offering with summer workshops for young people linked to the major event-exhibition entitled "Colours", from 8 July to 31 August 2025.

Printemps des Arts Monte-Carlo

The Printemps des Arts Monte-Carlo is a three-week event celebrating creativity and a mix of art forms: concerts, operas, painting, photography, theatre, etc. More than just a music and art festival, it's a meeting place for artists, specialists and the general public. The event is aimed at adults and children alike, with events organised to suit the whole family, so that art lovers of all ages can enjoy the festival. The festival is free for under-25s.

Sound and light show projected onto the Place du Palais

Events are organised throughout the year on the Place du Palais, whether to celebrate the bank holidays, to celebrate Carnival in summer, or to follow the great circus parade... Events that are bound to appeal to the youngest visitors. And every year at the start of summer, the square is the venue for the Meeting of the Grimaldi Historic Sites of Monaco, which welcomes in turn all the municipalities and territories linked to the Princely Family. A whole host of events are organised to mark the occasion, including cultural activities, speciality tastings and regional crafts. Children can also enjoy a spectacular show: a sound and light show projected onto the façades of the Princely Palace.

Heritage Day

European Heritage Day has been organised in the Principality for almost 25 years, and takes place around the end of September. This event allows visitors to open the doors of exceptional sites, some of which are closed to the public for the rest of the year. In the Principality, almost 40 sites spread over the 2 km² of Monaco will arouse the curiosity of parents... and children, with visits to the Oceanographic Museum, the Collection of classic cars owned by H.S.H. the Prince of Monaco and the Rainier-III Animal Garden. All in all, a great day out for all the family!

Terrae

For years, Terrae 's mission has been to establish ecological urban agriculture throughout the city. The company, founded by Jessica Sbaraglia, designs, develops and maintains organic vegetable gardens in the open ground or on balconies and rooftops in Monaco and across Europe. The planted areas respect the values of organic farming and the produce is intended for local consumption: for canteens, markets, restaurants, private individuals, etc. Throughout the year, Terrae works to raise awareness. For children aged 4 to 9, Terrae offers educational, fun and meaningful events.
