Tourism in Monaco: Review & Strategy for 2026

This annual meeting, held at the Monte-Carlo Bay Resort & Spa, brought together all the representatives of the Principality's tourism industry, as well as a large number of local economic players, who were able to discover the statistical data on Monegasque tourism for the past year and the development strategy of the D.T.C. and its 7 promotion offices around the world.

Against a particularly uncertain international backdrop, the year 2025 will see continued growth in most hotel indicators: occupancy rate (+3%), average price per room (+6%) and revenue per available room (+11%). The share of business tourism in overall activity is up (+3%).

The conference provided an opportunity to present the slogan of the destination's new communication campaign: "Monaco, Everything At Once", a campaign which will be unveiled very shortly and rolled out across all target markets from April onwards.

The Government Counsellor - Minister for Finance and the Economy declared: "The Principality has confirmed the strength and attractiveness of its tourism sector, driven by the quality of its services and infrastructure. This momentum is underpinned by international recognition and the loyalty of strategic events and clienteles. On the strength of these assets, Monaco is looking to the future with ambition, pursuing its development as a modern, sustainable and inspiring destination".

Guy Antognelli, Director of Tourism and Conventions, emphasised that: "Monaco is adapting its tourism strategy to meet the new expectations of leisure and business customers. Our ambition is to enhance the destination's visibility and desirability, by promoting its fundamental assets - security, stability and excellence - while integrating new digital uses and affirming our commitment to sustainable tourism".
