The Festival des Etoilés Monte-Carlo 2025 celebrated its 5th anniversary in a myriad of stars

The Festival des Etoilés Monte-Carlo, now a not-to-be-missed event in the Monegasque calendar

The Festival des Etoilés Monte-Carlo is now a firm fixture in the Monegasque calendar: for the past five years, it has been celebrating the finest gastronomy and the expertise of the Chefs of the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, who over the years have made Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer a benchmark gastronomic destination in Europe. After a programme of four-hands dinners held throughout the year in the Resort's Michelin-starred restaurants, the festival traditionally ended with a gala evening attended by all the Group's Michelin-starred chefs and their brigades.

This year's festival kicked off on 10 April at Le Grill, with Dominique Lory hosting Pierre Gagnaire. On 20 June, Alain Ducasse and Emmanuel Pilon welcomed Albert Adrià to the Louis XV-Alain Ducasse***. On 13 July, Yannick Alléno worked with Davide Oldani at Pavyllon Monte-Carlo*. On 18 July, Marcel Ravin and Anne-Sophie Pic offered their four-hands dinner at the Blue Bay Marcel Ravin**. This anniversary edition, marked by the arrival of 3 new stars, was enhanced by a dinner at L'Abysse Monte-Carlo** on 27 April with chef Hirotaka Wada, invited by Yannick Alléno, followed by a dinner at Elsa* on 23 September, with chef Florent Pietravalle, invited by Marcel Ravin and Domenico D'Antonio.

With its ten Michelin stars, the world's most Michelin-starred resort brought its 2025 festival to a close in the Salle des Etoiles at Sporting Monte-Carlo. For fifty years, this legendary setting has hosted the Principality's finest events and its biggest stars. A fitting venue for this Gala. After an opening speech by Stéphane Valeri, Chairman and CEO of the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, the evening was enlivened by Sophie Menut-Yovanovitch, editor-in-chief of the gastronomic magazine Cuisine & Vins de France and host of the television programme "Ça roule en cuisine", who was also present last year, and Jennifer Galap, columnist on TV Nova 19, host of Radio Tropiques and presenter for the France Télévisions group.

The chefs and their brigades finalised their dishes live from a giant Pass Live in front of the stage. Concentration was at an all-time high, as was friendship, with the other chefs lending a helping hand. As soon as the dishes were finished, they were brilliantly handled by the Sporting brigade, who performed like a ballet in the Salle des Etoiles. This magnificent room was transformed for the occasion into an immersive space in the world of the Chefs.

Beauty and wonder were also on show throughout the evening, with the magnificent children's choir from the International School of Monaco, the dancer Desislava Kancheva and the dance duo Marc Emmanuel Zanoli and Claire Teyssière, before the presentation of Cedric Grolet's Saint Honoré XXL. After dinner, it's time to dance to the frenzied rhythms of the group Divas on the Floor.

This evening is a special one, as it marks the fifth anniversary of this 100% SBM event, which celebrates one of our greatest skills, the one that perhaps most embodies the notions of pleasure, conviviality and sharing: gastronomy. Since its creation in 2021, our Festival des Etoilés has come a long way and has accompanied our ascent into an even more starry sky. This year we have gone from seven to ten stars, with new Chefs joining us and new restaurants opening, making Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer the most starred resort in the world.

We look forward to seeing you in 2026 for the 6th edition of the Monte-Carlo Star Festival.
