This year, the magic of Christmas will be all about music in Monte-Carlo
Snow globes, a giant Christmas tree and music on Place du Casino
The giant snow globes are back for the last time on Place du Casino, surrounding the traditional Christmas tree standing over 20 metres tall. This year, they are themed around ‘The Magic of Christmas in Monte-Carlo’, unveiling five new scenes: The Enchanted Ballet, the Christmas Choir, the Reindeer’s Tea Party, the Christmas Sky and Midnight, set to music with classic Christmas tunes. Children will follow the adventures of five adorable reindeer: Flocon, Rose, Hercule, Stella and Rudolph, Father Christmas’s faithful companion. Father Christmas will also be stopping by the Place du Casino with his traditional choir on 20, 21, 24 and 25 December, from 1pm to 5pm. On the façade of the Casino de Monte-Carlo, a sound and light show will feature the little reindeer every 30 minutes between 6pm and 10pm every weekend in December, and then every day during the school holidays.
The Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer Resort in tune
The festive magic extends from the Place du Casino along the Avenue des Beaux-Arts, the Allée François Blanc and the One Monte-Carlo, with the shops on the Promenade Monte-Carlo Shopping open every day in December (except the 25th). The chalets will also be back on Avenue de Monte-Carlo, where you can find the most beautiful Christmas decorations, between gourmet breaks, from 14 November to 4 January, every day from 10.30 am to 7 pm (8 pm during the school holidays). Our stroll will take us to the Group’s Hotels, which have also been transformed through exclusive collaborations with leading fashion houses. We’ll strike a pose in front of the Chopard Christmas tree in the lobby of the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, the Marco Traverso Christmas tree at the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, or in front of the music boxes adorning the lobby of the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort.
