The Grimaldi Forum Monaco celebrates its 25th anniversary and expansion!
This project at the conference and cultural center of the Principality adds 6,000 m² of additional flexible spaces, including 2,000 m² of outdoor areas, to support the growing demand for events and attract new clients. The extension is certified HQE (High Environmental Quality) and meets the highest environmental standards, furthering the venue's commitment to sustainability.
Since its opening in 2000, the Grimaldi Forum has consistently met the growing demands of business tourism and culture. Today, it welcomes over 300,000 visitors annually for 100 events, solidifying its position as a leader in Europe with prestigious events such as UEFA meetings, the Monte-Carlo Television Festival, and trade shows like Luxe Pack and Top Marques. At the same time, it has become a cultural landmark, hosting internationally renowned exhibitions and a varied program of live performances.
The Grimaldi Forum generates €70 million in indirect economic impact each year, making a significant contribution to the local economy. Certified ISO 14001 and ISO 20121, it also stands out for its social and environmental commitment. For instance, the venue has reduced its carbon footprint by 33% since 2019, and in 2024, it redistributed 3 tons of surplus food from its events to charitable organizations.
To celebrate this double milestone—its expansion and 25 years of success—a grand evening took place on January 16, 2025, in the presence of Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene, along with nearly 1,000 guests. Following an introduction marking the long-standing partnership with CMB Monaco, a unique show in the Salle des Princes retraced the Grimaldi Forum’s remarkable journey through six tableaux combining dance and video, created with the support of Jean-Christophe Maillot, Choreographer Director of the Ballets de Monte-Carlo. The performance featured internationally renowned choreographic artists Olga Smirnova and Victor Caixeta, along with students from the Princess Grace Academy, under the direction of Luca Masala. The artistic moment was followed by the inauguration of the extension by T.S.H. Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene, and a blessing by Father Jean-Ariel Bauza-Salinas o.p.
The evening continued with a discovery of the new spaces, a cocktail dinner, and an Electro Winter Party featuring BON ENTENDEUR, PARALLELLE, and DJ BALOO, offering guests a festive experience to conclude the celebration in style!
