This measure aims to make life easier for users by offering them a simple and effective way to get around during periods when traffic is particularly restricted due to major events.
Free travel will apply from the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show, from 19 September to 1 October, covering the event itself as well as part of the set-up and dismantling period, and the Luxe Pack Monaco trade fair. It will then be extended in 2026 to cover other major events such as the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters, the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique, the Monaco E-Prix, the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix and the Vuelta. The exact dates and practical arrangements will be specified by the CAM in due course.
This initiative, the result of institutional dialogue with the Conseil National, relies on a dense and efficient bus network, which is reinforced during peak periods. It reflects the Government’s commitment to making public transport as simple and accessible as possible, in order to enhance the user experience during these exceptional events.
