Launch of the "Ma Place PMR" application

The "Ma Place PMR" application is the latest addition to the range of mobility aids for people with reduced mobility in the Principality.

Following the launch of the Street Nav application last October, the Principality has now added a new digital tool to support inclusive mobility: the "Ma Place PMR" interface.

This system makes it possible to geolocate and monitor the availability of PRM surface parking spaces in near-real time, to make it easier for users with a dedicated parking card to get around.

To date, 64 of the 73 identified spaces have been equipped, and the system will be completed in 2026.

"MaPlacePMR is fully in line with the Prince's Government's Handipact policy, which is designed to be voluntary, concerted, with everyone and for everyone," emphasises Christophe Robino, Government Councillor-Minister.

The development of the project is an illustration of this, as it is the fruit of collaborative work between government departments on the one hand - the Department of Social Affairs and Health, the Interministerial Delegation for Digital Transition, the Department of Urban Development - and private sector players on the other - Monaco Telecom, Tickitall and Urbiotica - all of whom are involved in this innovative and inclusive project.

In addition, the Association Monégasque des Handicapés Moteurs took part in the practical tests, in line with the Handipact policy precept "nothing for us without us".

By 2025, two innovative digital solutions for mobility and accessibility will have been put into service, making it easier for people with disabilities to get around and park in Monaco.
