Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo named one of the World's 50 Best Hotels 2025

The ceremony for the third edition of the World's 50 Best Hotels 2025 was held in London on the evening of Thursday 30 October. Every year, this ceremony brings together the world's leading tourism and luxury hotel professionals to honour the fifty best hotels in the world. The Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo was included in the prestigious ranking, coming 36th. Louis Starck, General Manager of the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, was invited to the ceremony, along with Vincent Chasseignaux, Hotel Manager.

Another fine distinction for the Monegasque palace, which has just renewed its Three Michelin Keys, and which regularly wins awards for the excellence of its service and its exceptional offer, marked by the presence of two Michelin-starred restaurants, access to the Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo and, of course, its close proximity to the legendary Casino de Monte-Carlo and the Opéra de Monte-Carlo. Not to mention the Hotel's superb Diamond Suites, offering guests a stay like no other.

We are delighted and immensely proud to receive this award. This distinction highlights the exceptional offer of Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer in Monaco and its emblematic Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, the jewel in the crown of the Monegasque hotel industry. For more than 160 years, the staff of the legendary palace on Place du Casino have been helping to create unforgettable moments for our guests every day.

Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, the jewel in Monaco's hotel crown

Built in 1864, the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, with its Belle Epoque architecture, is one of the jewels in the crown of the iconic Place du Casino, defined in these terms by the founder of Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, François Blanc: "a hotel that surpasses everything that has been created to date". 161 years later, the promise still holds true. Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo combines the art of haute cuisine, thanks to the Michelin-starred restaurants Le Louis XV - Alain Ducasse*** and its majestically decorated dining room, and Le Grill* and its panoramic view, with the resolutely modern creativity of Cedric Grolet Monte-Carlo, with a boutique and tea room opened in the heart of the patio last July. And let's not forget Em Sherif Monte-Carlo, which reveals all the subtleties and refinement of Lebanese cuisine, overlooking the Mediterranean.

Completely renovated in 2020, after six years of work, the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo has further enhanced the quality of its stays, with the creation of two new exceptional Diamond Suites: the Prince Rainier III Suite and the Princess Grace Suite, offering panoramic views over the Principality. Underground, the prestigious Hôtel de Paris cellars, created in 1874 by Marie Blanc and recently renovated, house some 350,000 exceptional bottles, as well as a small museum where priceless old bottles are carefully preserved.

The Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo is steeped in history, but has adapted to the new codes of its clientele. It has welcomed great international figures, from the Prince of Wales, the future Edward VII, to Alexandre Dumas, Jacques Offenbach, Maria Callas, Salvador Dali, Sarah Bernhardt, Charlie Chaplin and, of course, Sir Winston Churchill.

On the strength of this history and its absolutely unique offering, the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo is now fully distinguished on the international scene thanks to the World's 50 Best Hotels, highlighting the work carried out every day by its teams, as well as that of every employee of the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer Group which, for over 160 years, has never ceased to strive for Excellence.
