Guillaume Ranvier, the new General Manager of Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo

A rich international career

Guillaume Ranvier graduated top of his class at the Ecole Supérieure de Cuisine Française in Paris, and has worked for the Hyatt Hotels Group for over ten years, in key positions in France and abroad.

He began his career at the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme as Director of Food & Beverage, before becoming Director of Rooms and then Director of Operations, where he played a key role in the complete refurbishment of the Paris establishment and in the continuous improvement of customer satisfaction. Guillaume Ranvier then moved on to Doha, where he was Director of Operations for the opening of a Park Hyatt in the Middle East.

After the health crisis, he returned to the Côte d'Azur, becoming Hotel Manager of the Martinez in Cannes, where he managed the first post-Covid season, marked by a major operational reorganisation.

He was then appointed General Manager of the Hyatt Regency Nice Palais de la Méditerranée, where he successfully renovated the restaurant, launched a repositioning project and even achieved record sales in 2022.

Since 2023, Guillaume Ranvier has held the position of Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris, one of the Group's flagship establishments, where he has helped to reinforce a culture of excellence focused on performance, team cohesion and the quality of the customer experience.

Through his rich international career, Guillaume Ranvier has forged values of rigour and excellence, as well as a passion for a demanding profession.

His leadership, attention to detail and commitment to quality of service and the well-being of his teams are major assets for the continued development and reputation of Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo.

Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, the Hotel for connoisseurs

A hotel of timeless elegance since 1928, a chic address for connoisseurs and lovers of art, culture and fine dining, the Hôtel Hermitage is a veritable jewel box of serenity with a singular and sensitive soul. With its Belle Epoque façade, the sublime Eiffel dome of the Jardin d'Hiver and its breathtaking view over the Mediterranean, the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo is an architectural jewel that has been particularly appreciated by the great personalities who have frequented it, from Marcel Pagnol to Francis Bacon, not forgetting Josephine Baker, Maria Callas and Aristotle Onasis.

This jewel is complemented by a highly refined gastronomic offering, thanks to Pavyllon Monte-Carlo*, a restaurant designed by Yannick Alléno, and its contemporary Japanese-inspired address, L'Abysse Monte-Carlo**. To continue attracting an increasingly discerning international clientele, the Hôtel Hermitage will unveil new suites in June, as well as a brand new lobby bar, Bar Gustave, which will take its place under the Eiffel dome in the heart of the Jardin d'Hiver.

In his new role, Guillaume Ranvier will be able to count on the support of all the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo teams, who are fully mobilised on a daily basis to help maintain the Monegasque Palace at the highest level of excellence, which characterises the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer Group and the Grand Art Monte-Carlo.

I am very honoured to be responsible for this exceptional House of Connoisseurs that is the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo. I am also delighted to be able to follow in the footsteps of the hoteliers who have contributed to the reputation of this Monegasque landmark, accompanied by passionate, committed professionals who are deeply attached to this place and its history. Our ambition is to write a new chapter for the Hôtel Hermitage, one that looks resolutely to the future through its renovations, a service focused on detail, a personalised stay where every gesture has a purpose, and finally women and men dedicated to providing that extra touch of soul offering our guests an authentic, elegant and memorable experience that every connoisseur will appreciate.
