Glow Up: the radiance of spring and the vitality of summer intertwine

“A living paper book, not to be leafed through, but to be journeyed through” – this is Monte-Carlo’s new look for the spring/summer 2026 season. With the relaunch of its Glow Up campaign, the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer Resort is undergoing a transformation, decorating the façades and interiors of its legendary establishments with giant origami creations. Since 9 June, the Casino de Monte-Carlo, the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort, the Monte-Carlo Beach and the Casino Café de Paris have been adorned with giant figures of birds and butterflies, created by Christine Marchal, founder of the Madame Ernest agency, and Céline Pagès, an artist who graduated in Arts & Scenography from the Pavillon Bosio in Monaco. This creative duo, who previously worked on the ‘Glow Up’ campaign in 2025 and the ‘La Rose des Vents’ campaign in 2022, have teamed up once again in 2026 for this new edition of ‘Glow Monte-Carlo’.
Crafted by a French workshop using a technical fibre-based paper suitable for outdoor use and hand-painted, with Japanese prints as their inspiration, these origami creations are true works of art, which can also be admired at night when the wings glow in soft colours.

Summer pop-ups are back

In Monaco, ‘the return of summer’ means ‘the return of pop-ups’. Once again this year, Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer is teaming up with Pernod-Ricard to offer two exclusive experiences within its Resort.

The Jardin Belle Epoque by Perrier-Jouët

It is in the lush setting of Square Beaumarchais, opposite the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, that Perrier-Jouët and Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer are reinventing the champagne tasting experience for the second year running. Building on the success of the first edition, the Jardin Belle Epoque has been back since 4 April, open every day until October.
Conceived as an immersive space, evoking the natural landscape of the Champagne region and Chardonnay – the signature grape variety of Perrier-Jouët – the Jardin Belle Epoque is expanding its offering this year with a unique culinary experience. To ensure the perfect accompaniment to Perrier-Jouët’s cuvées, a menu of food and champagne pairings has been developed by Laurent Piolti, Head Chef at the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, and Sébastien Morellon, Executive Chef at Maison Belle Epoque.
Several dishes have therefore been created: Lobster brioche, Vitello Gribiche, Boeuf Sando and Gravelax salmon, accompanied by the delicate notes of Perrier-Jouët’s Blanc de Blancs or Blason Rosé champagnes, to be enjoyed beneath the Art Nouveau-inspired pavilion, opposite the ‘Arbre à Flûtes’, created by the Dutch artist Tord Boontje. A truly unique experience, perfectly in keeping with the DNA of the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, the ‘Hôtel des Connaisseurs’.

Las Brisas welcomes Château Sainte Marguerite

Château Sainte Marguerite and Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer are also launching a second season at the heart of the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort. From 1 July until 30 August, the summer restaurant Las Brisas will be reinterpreting Provençal recipes.
It is here that Chef Marcel Ravin presents food and wine pairings, combining his summer cuisine with Château Sainte Marguerite wines – characterised by their finesse, freshness and complex aromatic profile, and one of the 18 Crus Classés estates of the Côtes-de-Provence. Dishes on offer will include, for example, the Salade François Blanc (artichoke, lobster, soft-boiled egg, beetroot, romaine lettuce and truffle), Maccheroncini with aubergine chokha, or free-range cockerel on a spit, served with candied lemon juice, paired with a Château Sainte Marguerite, Fantastique Rosé 2025 Cru Classé Côtes de Provence, or a Château Sainte Marguerite, Fantastique Blanc 2024 Cru Classé Côtes de Provence. For dessert, we’re particularly taken with the frosted coconut or the fresh fruit platter.
And for the very first time, Las Brisas restaurant is also opening its doors in the evenings, from 10 July to 23 August. As the sun sets, the venue takes on a more intimate and musical atmosphere. The new dinner menu, featuring Creole flavours, can be enjoyed with family or friends in a true spirit of conviviality and sharing: Spiced lamb shoulder méchoui with chickpeas, pomegranate, peanuts, coriander, mint and yoghurt, as well as tuna with coconut milk, lime and crunchy vegetables, will delight food lovers. Not to mention the desserts: the coconut, vanilla and lime ‘Blanc à manger’, the sweet potato flan tart with herbs, or the banana misu with ground pistachios.
Las Brisas is open daily from 12.30 pm to 3.30 pm and from Friday to Monday from 7.30 pm to 10 pm.
