Grimaldi Forum Monaco: A record-breaking 2025 and an already historic outlook for 2026

2025: a landmark anniversary year and a record-breaking year

Marking its 25th anniversary, 2025 represents a major turning point for the Grimaldi Forum with the completion of the extension to its building as part of the Mareterra project. This major transformation now provides the site with an additional 6,000 m² of exhibition space, complemented by 2,000 m² of outdoor space, significantly enhancing its capacity and appeal.

The year concludes with historic financial and operational results:

- €28 million in turnover
, up 17% compared to 2024;
- The occupancy target for the extension was met, with a third of the space taken up in the first year;
- Record visitor numbers and around 100 events hosted (43 cultural and 64 commercial).

Among the highlights, the summer exhibition “Colours! Masterpieces from the Centre Pompidou” ranks among the Grimaldi Forum’s top three biggest successes, with
76,500 visitors. As for professional events, several achieved unprecedented attendance figures, starting with AMWC, which attracted 17,000 participants over four days, filling every available space, including the extension. Other highlights of the year included the Blue Economy & Finance Forum (BEFF), the EAO (European Association of Osseointegration) congress, the Milwaukee convention and the Forbes Travel Guides Summit.

“The year 2025 will go down as a major turning point for the Grimaldi Forum. The loyalty of our clients, the enhanced appeal of the venue and our ability to attract new international events enable us to take a new step forward in our development,” emphasises Sylvie Biancheri, Managing Director of the Grimaldi Forum Monaco.

CSR Commitment and Institutional Accolades
In 2025, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco had its ISO 14001 and ISO 20121 certifications renewed, confirming the strength of its environmental and social commitment. Among the concrete actions taken:
- Nearly 26 tonnes of redistributed goods, including 1.3 tonnes of food;
- One day of community service per employee in
support of Monegasque charitable projects.

This commitment was recognised by the Government of Monaco’s Handipact 2025 Award for inclusive initiatives during the summer exhibition.
The Grimaldi Forum and its management have also received several major professional accolades, including the title of Best International Conference Centre at the M&IT Awards, and management awards for its Managing Director.

2026: an already exceptional momentum

Bolstered by the renewed confidence of its long-standing clients and the arrival of new clients, mainly from Europe, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco is on a very positive trajectory and has already achieved its increased commercial target for 2026. Also on the programme for this year are events that contribute to the Principality’s appeal, such as the Michelin Guide ceremony, the Conference of Sports Ministers, and La Vuelta, as well as promising second editions such as the Forbes Travel Guides Summit.

On the cultural front, the year begins with the return of international touring exhibitions: the “Colours!” exhibition will be on display at the Minsheng Art Museum in Beijing from 24 January to 15 April 2026.
And this summer, a brand-new exhibition will celebrate over 130 years of motoring history in Monaco, with “Monaco and the Automobile, from 1893 to the present day”, from 1 July to 6 September.
The programme of live performances also promises to be rich, featuring concerts, musicals, ballets, theatre and one-man shows.
