Grimaldi Forum Monaco: A record 2025 balance sheet and an already historic 2026 outlook
2025: a pivotal and record-breaking anniversary year
The year 2025 marks a major turning point for the Grimaldi Forum, as it celebrates its 25th anniversary with the completion of the extension to its building as part of the Mareterra project. This major transformation provided the site with an additional 6,000 m² of exhibition space, complemented by 2,000 m² of outdoor space, significantly boosting its capacity and appeal.
The year ended with record financial and operating results:
- 28 million euros in sales, up 17% on 2024;
- The extension's occupancy target was achieved, with an occupancy rate of one third in the first year;
- Record numbers of visitors and around a hundred events hosted (43 cultural and 64 commercial).
Highlights included the summer exhibition " Colours! Masterpieces from the Centre Pompidou" was one of the Grimaldi Forum's Top 3 most successful exhibitions, with
76,500 visitors. On the professional events front, several events attracted record numbers of visitors, starting with AMWC, which attracted 17,000 participants over 4 days, occupying the entire exhibition space, including the extension. Other highlights of the year included the Blue Economy & Finance Forum (BEFF), the EAO (European Association of Osseointegration) conference, the Milwaukee convention and the Forbes Travel Guides Summit.
"2025 will be a major turning point for the Grimaldi Forum. The loyalty of our customers, the increased attractiveness of the site and our ability to attract new international events will enable us to enter a new phase in our development", emphasises Sylvie Biancheri, Managing Director of the Grimaldi Forum Monaco.
CSR commitment and institutional awards
In 2025, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco had its ISO 14001 and ISO 20121 certifications renewed, confirming the strength of its environmental and social commitment. Concrete actions include
- Nearly 26 tonnes of redistribution, including 1.3 tonnes of foodstuffs;
- One solidarity day per employee for Monegasque charity projects.
This commitment was recognised by the Monaco Government's Handipact 2025 prize for inclusive initiatives during the summer exhibition.
The Grimaldi Forum and its management have also received several major professional awards, including the title of Best International Convention Centre at the M&IT Awards, and managerial awards for its General Manager.
2026: already exceptional momentum
Buoyed by the renewed confidence of its long-standing clients and the arrival of new, mainly European, clients, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco is enjoying a very positive momentum, and has already achieved its increased sales target for 2026. Also on the agenda this year are events that contribute to the Principality's appeal, such as the Michelin Guide ceremony, the Conference of Sports Ministers and La Vuelta, as well as promising second editions such as the Forbes Travel Guides Summit.
On the cultural front, the year kicked off with the return of international tours: the "Couleurs!" exhibition was presented at the Minsheng Art Museum in Beijing from 24 January to 15 April 2026.
And this summer, a brand new exhibition will celebrate more than 130 years of automobile history in Monaco, with "Monaco and the Automobile, from 1893 to the present day", from 1 July to 6 September.
The programme of live entertainment also promises to be rich, with concerts, musicals, ballets, theatre and one-man shows.
