The Hotel des Connaisseurs unveils its cultural, artistic and gastronomic programme for 2026

Following the launch of the very first edition of Monaco Poésie Nuit et Jour on 26 and 27 March, organised by Thierry Consigny and featuring a special appearance by actor Lambert Wilson, the summer will be punctuated by further wonderful cultural events at the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo. As every year, the Salon Excelsior will host a series of philosophical talks as part of PhiloMonaco week.

Exclusive evening events will also be back, combining gourmet dinners and concerts in the Cour d’Honneur of the Prince's Palace or a visit to the Grimaldi Forum Monaco summer exhibition, dedicated this year to the links between Monaco and the automotive industry. Following an inaugural dinner to mark the Monte-Carlo Festival des Etoilés on 13 June at Pavyllon Monte-Carlo, a restaurant run by Yannick Alleno, during which the chef hosted Gérald Passedat, food connoisseurs will also be able to enjoy a second highlight of this wonderful event at L’Abysse Monte-Carlo, an exquisite setting dedicated to Japanese cuisine and holder of two Michelin stars.

  • 26 and 27 June: Monaco Philosophy Meetings, Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo
    The Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, a supporter of the Monaco Philosophy Meetings, will host three lectures during PhiloMonaco2026 week, on the theme of Desire:
    • 26 June, 7.00–9.00 pm: Not giving in to one’s desire. A discussion between Charlotte Casiraghi, president and founder of PhiloMonaco, the philosopher Raphael Zagury-Orly, and the philosopher, psychoanalyst and professor Clotilde Leguil.
    • 27 June, 2.30 pm–5.30 pm: Writing about desire. A discussion between the philosopher Raphaël Zagury-Orly, the author Alice Ferney, the writer Laurent Gaudé and the teacher Cécile Ladjali.
    • 27 June, 7.00 pm–9.00 pm: Between Desires and Addictions. A discussion featuring writer, clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst Sarah Chiche, essayist and sexologist Thérèse Hargot, author and psychiatrist Camille Charvet, and writer Johann Zarca.

  • 9, 12, 26 and 30 July – 2 and 6 August: Special Music & Gastronomy Evening

Once again this year, the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo is joining forces with the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra for six exclusive evenings. The programme includes a gourmet dinner at the Pavyllon Monte-Carlo restaurant, run by Yannick Alléno*, and a classical music concert in the Cour d’Honneur of the Prince's Palace. 390 euros per person, including dinner (excluding drinks), transport and the concert.   • 25 July and 8 August: Special Art & Gastronomy Evening

Two exclusive evenings, beginning with a sumptuous dinner at Pavyllon Monte-Carlo, Yannick Alléno’s restaurant at the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, before heading to the Grimaldi Forum Monaco for a private guided tour of the summer exhibition ‘Monaco & the Car ’.   • 19 September: Monte-Carlo Festival des Etoilés, L’Abysse Monte-Carlo**- Yannick Alléno welcomes Martino Ruggieri (Maison Ruggieri – Palais Royal, Paris), the Michelin-starred chef from Puglia, Italy, to his Japanese-inspired restaurant for a four-handed dinner. €700 per person, drinks included.

L’Abysse Monte-Carlo is also introducing a brand-new menu, available from Tuesday to Thursday: the Matataki. Meaning ‘blink of an eye’, this new offering takes diners on a brief journey faithful to the poetry of Japanese gastronomy, featuring two savoury courses, a selection of sashimi and four nigiri sushi, an amami for dessert and a ‘Petal Storm’ cold brew coffee blend from Lavazza’s 1895 Collection. The entire menu is created by multi-Michelin-starred chef Yannick Alléno and sushi master Naoki Kikuchi. - Menu at 195 euros per person – Food, wine and sake pairing at 90 euros.

  Also not to be missed is the brand-new venue at the Monegasque palace, set to open its doors on 2 June in the Winter Garden, beneath the Eiffel Dome: Gustave, the bar at the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo. Designed to evoke an authentic 18th-century bourgeois salon, where guests can take their time to exchange ideas and converse, Gustave, the Bar invites you to rediscover forgotten spirits through a menu of signature cocktails inspired by Art Nouveau, and a Champagne trolley.
