Appointment of Klaus Kabelitz as General Manager of the Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo
Since September 2024, he has served as General Manager of The Kensington in London, part of The Doyle Collection, leading its repositioning as a luxury Hotel and playing an active role in its development. Prior to this, he was Hotel Manager on board the Seabourn Quest, overseeing all hotel operations and successfully leading the post-pandemic relaunch.
He has also managed The Biltmore Mayfair for LXR Hotels & Resorts and The Cadogan London for Belmond, where he oversaw its opening and established its reputation on the London scene. His career has also seen him at the helm of El Encanto in Santa Barbara, also part of the Belmond group, and at the Richemond in Geneva, part of the Dorchester Collection. He also spent nearly fourteen years with The Maybourne Hotel Group, notably as General Manager of The Berkeley, having started as Head of Accommodation at Claridge’s.
Trained within international groups such as Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts and Hilton International, Klaus Kabelitz has distinguished himself through his expertise in the opening, repositioning and development strategies of iconic establishments.
