Appointment of Klaus Kabelitz as General Manager of Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo
Since September 2024, he has been General Manager of The Kensington in London as part of The Doyle Collection, leading its repositioning as a luxury Hotel and actively participating in its development. Prior to this, he was Hotel Director on board Seabourn Quest, overseeing all hotel operations and successfully managing the post-pandemic recovery.
He also managed The Biltmore Mayfair for LXR Hotels & Resorts and The Cadogan London for Belmond, where he oversaw the opening and expansion of the hotel in London. His career has also taken him to the head of El Encanto in Santa Barbara, still within the Belmond group, and to the Richemond in Geneva as part of the Dorchester Collection. He also spent nearly fourteen years at The Maybourne Hotel Group, notably as General Manager of The Berkeley, after starting out as Head of Lodging at Claridge's.
Having trained with international groups such as Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts and Hilton International, Klaus Kabelitz has distinguished himself through his expertise in openings, repositionings and development strategies for iconic establishments.
