After four months of renovations, La Rascasse takes a new direction

It has been one of the Principality's must-visit party venues for over 70 years. On Thursday 9 April, La Rascasse, the legendary address in the Port of Monaco, reopened its doors, unveiling its brand new look to its clientele. Metamorphosed into a chic Sport Bar, the venue now pays homage to motor sport, with a stunning ceiling sculpted from car engines and other spare parts, a chequered floor evoking the starting lines of motor races, and red and white decor.

On the walls are photo frames of vintage races; on a podium, drivers dressed in their helmets and overalls, including Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc. After four months of refurbishment, the soul of La Rascasse has been reinvented to embody all the raw energy of a motor racing circuit.

From afterwork to parties

From 5.30pm onwards, La Rascasse welcomes its first customers for an afterwork, in the dining room or on the terrace, facing the famous tight bend of the Monaco Grand Prix circuit, with cocktails at preferential rates from 5.30pm to 10pm on weekdays and from 7pm to 10pm on Saturdays. All to the sound of live bands from Thursday to Saturday. And from 11pm, it's time to party with the DJ sets.

Cocktails and gourmet finger food to share. Don't miss the La Rascasse Paddock (Lost Explorer Mezcal, crème de Cassis, lemon, gingerbeer), the Pit Stop (Neft Vodka infused with Tonka, Frangelico, coffee) or the Pole Position (Havana 3yrs, melon liqueur, Cointreau, lemon, pineapple juice, orgeat).

Serve with Mini Hot Dogs(grilled sausage, fresh spinach, crispy crisps, parmesan, homemade ketchup and mustard), Croquettes Rascasse (crispy ham croquettes with a creamy, melting centre), or Spicy Guacamole (creamy avocado with lime, fresh pico de gallo and crispy corn chips).

And don't forget the sweet touch with the Mini Beignets, with chocolate, red fruit or pistachio toppings, the Mini Cornets glacés (vanilla ice cream/cookie sprinkles, mojito sorbet) or the Finger Signature Casque N°16 (shortbread biscuit, caramel centre, milk chocolate coating).
