After four months of renovations, La Rascasse is taking a new direction

It has been one of the Principality’s must-visit venues for partying for over 70 years. On Thursday 9 April, La Rascasse, the legendary venue in the Port of Monaco, reopened its doors, unveiling its brand-new look to its guests. Transformed into a chic sports bar, the venue now pays tribute to motor racing with a stunning ceiling sculpted from car engines and other spare parts, a chequered floor evoking the starting lines of motor races, and a red-and-white décor.

On the walls hang framed photos of vintage races; on a podium stand drivers clad in their helmets and overalls, including that of Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc. After four months of renovation, the spirit of La Rascasse has been reinvented, embodying all the raw energy of a motor racing circuit.

From after-work drinks to festive evenings

From 5.30 pm, La Rascasse welcomes its first guests for an after-work drink, indoors or on the terrace, facing the famous tight bend of the Monaco Grand Prix circuit, with cocktails at special rates from 5.30 pm to 10 pm on weekdays and from 7 pm to 10 pm on Saturdays. All to the sound of live bands, from Thursday to Saturday. And from 11 pm, it’s time to party with DJ sets.

À la carte cocktails and gourmet finger food to share. Not to be missed: the La Rascasse Paddock(Lost Explorer Mezcal, crème de cassis, lemon, ginger beer), the Pit Stop(Tonka-infused Neft Vodka, Frangelico, coffee) or the Pole Position(3-year-old Havana rum, melon liqueur, Cointreau, lemon, pineapple juice, orgeat).

To accompany these, try the Mini Hot Dogs ( grilled sausage, fresh spinach, crispy potato crisps, Parmesan, homemade ketchup and mustard), La Rascasse Croquettes(crispy ham croquettes with a melt-in-the-mouth, creamy centre), or Spicy Guacamole(creamy avocado spiced with lime, fresh pico de gallo and crispy corn chips).

Not forgetting a sweet treat with Mini Beignets, toppings of chocolate, red berries or pistachio, the Mini Ice Cream Cones(vanilla ice cream with cookie pieces, mojito sorbet) or the Finger Signature Casque N°16(shortbread biscuit, caramel centre, milk chocolate coating).
