48th Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival and 13th New Generation

An extraordinary edition!

The 48th edition of the Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival promises to be an exceptional event, bringing together acts of remarkable creativity and unrivalled virtuosity, where technical prowess borders on the extraordinary.

Nearly 200 artists from all corners of the globe will showcase all the major circus disciplines: equestrian and dressage, flying trapeze, hand-to-hand, teeterboard, contortion, juggling and many more.

Among the programme’s highlights, the Richter family will present an elegant free-range equestrian act, culminating in ‘La Poste’, one of the most demanding and spectacular equestrian feats. Latvian artist Andrejs Fjodorov will enchant the audience with a magnificent pigeon dressage act, whilst the Chinese acrobatic troupe from Dalian will bring back to life the ‘meteors’, also known as shooting stars, a highly complex discipline dating back to the 3rd millennium BCE. Another striking moment: the impressive aerial feats of the Mexican troupe led by Juan Cebolla. There will be no shortage of humour with Italian clown Davide Vassallo and the Toni Alexis family, who are sure to create a joyful and warm atmosphere.

Entertainment will once again be provided by the Bingo troupe, with Petit Gougou as master of ceremonies.

Finally, the young artists discovered through the New Generation competition will share the ring with established professionals, adding an extra dimension to this prestigious event.

A true celebration of the circus arts, this unmissable event promises a memorable experience, blending tradition, daring and the emergence of tomorrow’s talents, in a whirlwind of emotions and spectacular feats.
