A taste of Monaco's constellation of starred restaurants
In Monaco, there is the Salle des Etoiles and its unique artistic programme. And then there are the starred restaurants and their equally unique shows. Thirteen Michelin stars are scattered around the Principality for lunch or dinner in eight exceptional venues. The three-star Louis XV-Alain Ducasse at the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, the Grill on the roof of the palace and Elsa, an authentic restaurant by nature, are just some of the exceptional places to treat your taste buds. The Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo boasts two gastronomic jewels: Pavyllon Monte-Carlo, a restaurant designed by Yannick Alléno, and L'Abysse Monte-Carlo, which was awarded two stars in its first year. On the other side of Place du Casino, the Métropole Monte-Carlo sublimates French culinary art and boasts two stars with Les Ambassadeurs by Christophe Cussac. The constellation extends nearby, from R-La Table d'Antonio Salvatore and its first Michelin star, awarded in 2021, to the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort with the Caribbean flavours of Blue Bay Marcel Ravin. This seaside restaurant has been awarded two Michelin stars for its savoir-faire.
Take your taste buds to the four corners of the world
Some 139 nationalities live side by side in Monaco throughout the year. This cosmopolitan atmosphere is reflected in the dishes! Fans of fusion cuisine will be delighted at the Fairmont Monte-Carlo's Nobu restaurant, halfway between Japan and South America, or at the Buddha Bar , where Asia meets the West in a lounge atmosphere conducive to partying. Gaïa showcases Greek gastronomy, Sexy Tacos offers a trip to Mexico and The Niwaki is a Japanese destination not to be missed. Discover the gastronomic savoir-faire of Monaco-Ville
The history of Monaco was partly born on the Rock, and this is the ideal place to take the pulse of the Principality. Under the pine trees of Place du Palais, Castelroc invites you to discover its Mediterranean cuisine inspired by local traditions, in particular stockfish à la monégasque, or stocafi. You can also try this dish as you wander through the colourful streets of the old town, at the restaurant La Montgolfière , with its menu of traditional dishes revisited. A little further on, Saint-Nicolas offers a Mediterranean-inspired menu that changes with the seasons, at the foot of the Cathedral.
An exceptional evening in the heart of the Casino de Monte-Carlo
François Blanc, founder of the Casino de Monte-Carlo , used to say that "nothing can be done here like anywhere else". With its James Bond atmosphere and Belle Epoque architecture, the establishment invites you to daydream, and its two gourmet addresses combine an intimate setting with elegant cuisine. Le Train Bleu takes guests on a chic dinner of Italian flavours in a prestigious restaurant carriage with a unique décor. As for the Salon Rose , its boudoir style and terrace overlooking the Mediterranean invite guests to savour local and international dishes in a haven of tranquillity...
Delighting in the Grande Bleue
Nestled between the sea and the mountains, the Principality has a wealth of places to enjoy a meal overlooking the Mediterranean. At the heart of the Fairmont Monte-Carlo hotel, the Lobby Lounge Restaurant & Bar offers a bistronomic menu with its large windows overlooking the sea. Authentic, tasty, generous, festive and accessible: these are the adjectives that define Marius , the new address on the port of Monaco, a veritable ode to the southern region.
A stone's throw away, Le Quai des Artistes distils its generous, convivial cuisine in a refined, elegant setting, with the marina as a backdrop. Located on the roof of the Hôtel Port Palace, La Môme offers a breathtaking view of the Port Hercule and the Princely Palace. On the famous Sainte-Dévote bend, Caffè Milano offers a blend of modern and traditional Italian cuisine overlooking Port Hercule. Finally, to enjoy the sound of the waves on the shore in summer and winter alike, there is no shortage of concepts at the Larvotto seaside resort: Mediterranean-inspired cuisine at Le Neptune or La rose des vents , wood-fired pizzas at Miami Plage , inventive inspiration at La note bleue or Italian ambience at Giacomo.
