The Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort continues its transformation
The Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort continues its transformation! Delivered last April, the 9th and 10th floors open a new chapter in a vast renovation programme that will cover 141 rooms and suites by April 2026. A bold transformation, inspired by the Italian Memphis movement of the 1980s. Added to this dynamic is a major project: the raising of three storeys, which will take the Hotel to fourteen storeys by 2030, the year of its 25th anniversary. Finally, after the Hermitage and the Monte-Carlo Beach, the Monte-Carlo Bay will welcome a kids club in summer 2026, further enhancing the experience for families.
A new look for La Rascasse
La Rascasse is about to get a facelift. The famous Monegasque establishment is undergoing renovations and from April will unveil a brand new décor, directly inspired by the world of Formula 1 racing. It's a deliberate nod to its emblematic location, at the heart of the circuit, and to the Principality's sporting DNA.
A facelift for La Condamine market
The La Condamine market hall closed its doors on Sunday 11 January for thirteen months to allow for major restructuring and modernisation work. A transitional market has been in place in the Place d'Armes since 15 January to ensure continuity of activity. Two large marquees have been set up in the centre of the square, with tables and chairs for the public, providing seating for sixty people, which will be increased to three hundred from midday, once the market gardeners and florist have left. The renovated market hall is due to reopen in early 2027, with the aim of offering a more modern and functional space, while retaining the friendly spirit of the market.
Three major new features at the Oceanographic Museum
Three new facilities will enhance the Oceanographic Museum experience. The historic tank , completely renovated 35 years after its creation, is once again home to corals, fish and invertebrates in a modernised setting, complete with an immersive digital fresco. The conference room has also been reinvented, with a film combining archive footage and contemporary images, from DiCaprio to Mbappé, and eight sound modules featuring leading ocean figures. Finally, three plaques pay tribute to the patrons and donors of the Institute, whose partnership with CFM Indosuez has been extended until 2028.
Opening of the "Live by Léo Ferré" concert hall in 2026
The Principality is preparing to bid farewell to a venue that has spanned the decades... The Espace Léo Ferré, formerly the Salle du Canton, will close its doors on 31 December 2025. A new venue will open its doors at the end of March 2026, in the Îlot Pasteur. It will be called "Live by Léo Ferré". The new venue will host concerts, musicals and shows for young audiences.
A new look for the Hôtel de Paris cellars
Carved out of the rock in 1874 on the initiative of Marie Blanc, the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo wine cellars are now revealing a restored version of this unique heritage treasure. With its 350,000 bottles, 5,500 references and 1.5 km of galleries, it is the largest Hotel cellar in the world. Open for private visits and tailor-made dinners, they offer a rare opportunity to immerse yourself in the legend of grands crus... and of Monte-Carlo.
