Monaco at Europa Park

Monaco invites itself to Europa Park! From 2026, the Principality will become the ^18th country to have its own area in the famous theme park on the Franco-German border. With its elegant architecture, exclusive experiences and atmosphere combining prestige and escape, this new area promises to enhance Monaco's image in the eyes of an international audience. Nathalie Stutzmann soon to conduct the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra

From September 2026, Nathalie Stutzmann will become the first woman to conduct the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra , succeeding Kazuki Yamada after ten years at the helm. Her appointment echoes the Principality's recent history, as she was already the first woman to conduct an opera in Monaco with Tannhäuser in 2017. A conductor renowned for her exacting standards and artistic commitment, she will combine this new role with that of Music Director of the Atlanta Orchestra, confirming her international stature as a leading figure.

A metamorphosis by 2029 for Villa Sauber

From 2026, the Principality will embark on an ambitious renovation project for the Villa Sauber. The aim of the work is to transform this cultural space into a veritable centre for the arts. With this restructuring, exhibition capacity is set to increase sixfold, from 650 m² to 4,000 m². The project has been entrusted to renowned architect Renzo Piano and is due to be completed in 2029.

Monaco to host the start of the 2026 Tour of Spain

Monaco, the land of cycling... A statement made all the more true by the fact that the Principality hosted the final stage of the Tour de France 2024. And in August 2026, it will be the peloton of the Tour of Spain that will come to discover the hinterland with its breathtaking mountain passes overlooking the Mediterranean on the first stage of the Vuelta! Although we'll have to wait a little longer to find out the details of this grand departure, the organisers of the competition are said to be working on a time trial.
