The start of the Tour of Spain in Monaco

Monaco, the land of cycling... A fact made all the truer by the fact that the Principality hosted the final stage of the 2024 Tour de France. This time, from 20 to 23 August 2026, it will be the Vuelta that takes up residence in the Principality for its official start. After the presentation of the teams on 20 August, the riders will set off on 22 August for a 9.6km time trial through the streets of Monaco, before a second stage starting from the Prince's Palace on 23 August and heading for France and the Côte d'Azur hinterland.

Armand Duplantis headlines the Meeting Herculis EBS

The Meeting Herculis EBS promises to be a suspended moment. Monegasque superstar and resident Armand 'Mondo' Duplantis is set to attempt another world record in the pole vault at the Stade Louis II. The child prodigy of world athletics will be meeting up again with a Monegasque public that will be rooting for him in this prestigious event. Watch out on 10 July to find out whether the Swede will set a 16th world record in Monaco, with a bar perched at 6.32m, or even higher!

Triathlon returns to the Principality

From 8 November 2026, the Monaco International Triathlon plans to rock the Principality. Nearly 3,000 participants are expected to take up the challenge in one of the two formats on offer: 2,000 m swim, 90 km bike ride and 20 km run, or 1,500 m, 40 km and 10 km. It's a triple effort that's sure to impress, as the athletes swim in the Grande Bleue, tread the tarmac of the Grand Prix and climb the most beautiful passes on the Côte d'Azur by bike, with panoramic views over the Mediterranean.

Monaco jumps at a new sporting event

The Principality is breaking new ground with a spectacular urban competition dedicated to high jumping. On 5 August, the Monaco Athletics Festival takes over the seafront with Mutaz Barshim's "What Gravity" concept. An immersive experience up close and personal with the athletes, Monaco is part of a new international sporting dynamic.

Louis Vuitton takes pole position in Monaco

Louis Vuitton has become Title Partner of the Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Monaco Grand Prix, sealing a multi-year agreement with Formula 1 and the Automobile Club de Monaco. The French luxury leather goods house has always enjoyed an intimate relationship with the Principality, combining elegance, innovation and a culture of excellence.

Red and white seats at the Stade Louis-II

This announcement has been eagerly awaited for some time by a large number of fans. Gone are the mythical yellow seats, and the Stade Louis-II will be switching to red and white , the emblematic colours of the Principality and AS Monaco Football Club. This decision was taken as part of the modernisation of the stadium, and will serve to reinforce the visual identity of the venue. The new seats, which will be more comfortable and partially retractable, will be installed by 2027, in time for the Games of the Small States of Europe.
