Stars of Monaco gets a makeover

A Port Hercule institution, the Stars of Monaco is reinventing itself with a revamped décor and a new culinary offering that remains true to its convivial spirit. The menu features generous, home-cooked international cuisine, prepared using fresh produce, in a setting overlooking the harbour. The venue aims to remain a place where people can gather at any time of day, from lunch through to lively evenings. DJ sets, concerts, themed nights and jazz performances now feature regularly on the programme, making the Stars a new hub for the Monegasque art of living.

Gustave, the new bar at the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo

A new addition to the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo. The hotel for connoisseurs has launched Gustave, a new bar designed as an elegant retreat for lovers of cocktails and intimate atmospheres. Its name pays tribute to Gustave Eiffel, designer of the famous glass roof of the Jardin d’Hiver, the architectural setting in which the bar is situated. With its Belle Époque heritage, bourgeois style and contemporary touches, the bar combines understated refinement, subdued lighting and a creative menu centred on reimagined classics.

Robuchon Monaco earns its first star

At the Michelin Guide ceremony held at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco, Robuchon Monaco was awarded its first star, in recognition of chef Jonathan Larrieu’s work. True to the legacy of Joël Robuchon, the restaurant offers contemporary French cuisine, where the great classics are thoughtfully reimagined using carefully selected seasonal produce. Monaco now boasts 14 stars across nine establishments, confirming its rare gastronomic density.

The Festival des Etoilés returns

The Festival des Etoilés marks its sixth edition with, once again, a programme of the very highest calibre: six four-handed dinners, conceived by some of the finest names in gastronomy. From 13 May, Marcel Ravin will kick things off alongside Glenn Viel, before hosting another event on 23 July with Christopher Coutanceau. In the meantime, Dominique Lory and Christophe Moret will team up on 22 May, followed by Yannick Alléno hosting Gérald Passedat on 13 June and Martino Ruggieri on 19 September. On 23 September, Alain Ducasse and Björn Frantzén are already promising sparks will fly, ahead of the traditional closing gala on 14 November.

Sen: the spirit of Japan in an intimate setting

Conceived by the Kodera family, Sen is set to open soon at Le Méridien Beach Plaza in a speakeasy-style setting. At the helm, chef Hiroki Hiyama offers a precise and contemporary take on Japanese cuisine, remaining true to its fundamentals. In a cosy setting, the venue focuses on simplicity and attention to detail, with an experience designed to remain intimate and refined.

Maona Monte-Carlo: a second season marked by style

Returning on 14 May, Maona Monte-Carlo continues its festive spirit, inspired by Mykonos, with a new season. Whilst Greek cuisine and the musical atmosphere remain at the heart of the experience, it is above all the venue’s transformation that is attracting attention. From June, the lounge area will be transformed with a new design conceived in partnership with APM Monaco, bringing a more distinctive aesthetic.

La Vigie Zanoni: Italy with a sunny twist

A new addition for the 2026 season, La Vigie Zanoni Monte-Carlo is set to open at the tip of the Monte-Carlo Beach peninsula from 12 June. Chef Simone Zanoni serves up generous, seasonal Italian cuisine, featuring pasta, dishes to share, and superb cuts of meat and fish. All this is set against a bright backdrop, dotted with lemons and bees, with a signature touch: small pots of honey to add a twist to the dishes. A place designed to help you enjoy the moment, from lunch to dinner, in a friendly and lively atmosphere.
