The accommodation and catering sector continues to thrive

The hospitality and catering sector is reaffirming its role as a driving force in Monaco’s economy. According to the latest IMSEE report , it generated a record turnover of €1.14 billion in 2025, up 6.3 per cent year-on-year and 80 per cent over the past decade. As the Principality’s second-largest employer, with nearly 9,000 staff, the sector is also benefiting from a growing hotel business, with an occupancy rate of 64.5 per cent and 353,875 guests staying in Hotels. These results demonstrate Monaco’s enduring appeal to its international clientele.

Louis Vuitton launches its first City Guide dedicated to Monaco

The Principality joins the prestigious collection of Louis Vuitton City Guides with a publication that invites readers to discover an unexpected side of Monaco, far removed from the clichés. Featuring nearly 200 addresses, the guide highlights the richness of Monaco’s heritage, cultural scene, gastronomy and way of life. It also gives a voice to several local figures, offering a personal perspective on a destination that is constantly evolving. Jacquemus reinvents summer once again at Monte-Carlo Beach

Monte-Carlo Beach is continuing its collaboration with Jacquemus, who this season has created a new design inspired by the Mediterranean beach clubs of the 1950s. The jetty, swimming pool and bar are decked out in a fresh palette of mint blue, white and black, whilst the brand’s iconic stripes adorn sun loungers, parasols and towels. Two pop-up boutiques are also offering an exclusive selection of co-branded items. More than just a fashion collaboration, this immersive experience celebrates a summer lifestyle where design, elegance and the spirit of the Riviera come together until 27 September.

The Métropole Monte-Carlo honoured by Condé Nast Traveller

The Métropole Monte-Carlo is one of the few European establishments to have received the prestigious ‘Triple Crown’ award from Condé Nast Traveler. Awarded to just around fifty hotels in Europe, this accolade recognises establishments that consistently excel in hospitality, service and the guest experience. This recognition confirms Monaco’s place amongst the most sought-after destinations for luxury tourism and highlights the excellence of its hotel offering, regularly praised by the sector’s leading international authorities.

The Exotic Garden reopens its doors

After nearly six years of closure and major safety works, the Exotic Garden reopened to the public on 29 March for Monegasques and residents, and then on 30 March for the general public. This iconic site in the Principality, perched on the cliffside, has undergone extensive renovation: rock stabilisation, replacement of footbridges and refurbishment of the walkways. The reopening was also accompanied by new facilities, including a Exotic Garden Bar at the entrance, as well as a Playground and a room dedicated to children’s birthday parties.

Monaco at Europa-Park

Monaco is making its mark at Europa Park. This year, the Principality becomes the 18th country to have its own themed area within the famous amusement park situated on the Franco-German border. With its elegant architecture, exclusive experiences and an atmosphere blending prestige and escapism, this new area enhances Monaco’s image among an international audience.
