‘From Yesterday to Today’ exhibition at the Collection of Cars of H.S.H. the Prince of Monaco

With “From Yesterday to Today”, the Car Collection of H.S.H. the Prince of Monaco presents, from 22 June to 13 September, a unique side-by-side comparison between legendary models and their contemporary successors. Ferrari, Bugatti and Ford illustrate the evolution of design, performance and technological innovation across the decades. This exhibition puts the history of the automobile into perspective whilst highlighting the ability of major brands to reinvent their icons, in a fascinating dialogue between heritage and modernity.

An international accolade for the Oceanographic Museum’s innovation

The Oceanographic Museum of Monaco has once again made its mark on the international stage. Its immersive experience, ‘Oceano Odyssey – Mission Pelagos’, created as part of the ‘Mediterranean 2050’ exhibition, has received the MONDO DR AWARD in the ‘Museum’ category. This award recognises an achievement that combines scientific excellence, technological innovation and emotional impact to raise public awareness of the challenges of ocean conservation. Through state-of-the-art immersive technology, visitors are invited to imagine a regenerated Mediterranean in 2050, in an experience that is as spectacular as it is engaging.

Monaco, a backdrop for international productions

The Principality will feature in several highly anticipated film productions over the coming months. From Hollywood cinema to hit TV series and the world of Formula 1… Monaco continues to fascinate the international audiovisual industry. A prequel to *Ocean’s Eleven*, starring Margot Robbie and Bradley Cooper, will transport viewers back to the glamour of the 1962 Grand Prix, whilst *Emily in Paris* will be stopping off on the Rock for its sixth series. And the HBO series *The White Lotus* is said to have chosen Monaco for its next instalment set in the Mediterranean. The phenomenon of ‘set-jetting’ (travelling to locations featured in films or TV series) is in full swing, and Monaco intends to capitalise on this global exposure to attract new visitors.

Exhibition ‘I carrugi d’A Roca – The Streets of the Rock’ at the Museum of Old Monaco

The Museum of Old Monaco is celebrating the soul of the Rock with its new exhibition ‘I Carrugi d’A Roca – Les Rues du Rocher ’. Through a journey blending history, memory and heritage, visitors are invited to rediscover these iconic alleyways that have shaped Monaco’s identity over the centuries. A perfect cultural experience to immerse yourself in the history of the Principality. Open free of charge from 9 June to 30 September, every day except Mondays, from 10.30 am to 5 pm, at the Museum of Old Monaco, Place des Carmes – Rue Émile de Loth.

Major cultural project launched at Villa Sauber

The Nouveau Musée National de Monaco has officially launched the ambitious restoration and extension project at Villa Sauber. Entrusted to the Renzo Piano Building Workshop, the project will radically transform this iconic site in the Principality by 2029. The museum’s floor area will increase from 600 to over 4,000 m², with new spaces dedicated to exhibitions, educational activities, research and the public: an auditorium, workshops, a library, a café and a redesigned landscaped garden.

‘A Journey Through Stamps’ exhibition at the Museum of Stamps and Coins

The Museum of Stamps and Coins invites the public on a round-the-world journey through the medium of postage stamps with the exhibition ‘A Journey Through Stamps’, running from 11 May to 27 September 2026. Through a selection of rare and colourful items, the exhibition traces the history of travel, great expeditions and iconic destinations through the art of philately. A specific section is devoted to the evolution of leisure and racing cars.

The Monte-Carlo Summer Festival unveils its 2026 line-up

The Monte-Carlo Summer Festival has unveiled its 2026 line-up, featuring international headliners including Aya Nakamura, John Legend and Vanessa Paradis. An eclectic line-up, spanning pop, soul and the French music scene, which reaffirms the summer event’s ambition. True to its ethos, the festival continues to attract major artists and offer an experience that is both festive and refined, contributing to Monaco’s cultural influence.

‘The Wedding of the Century’ exhibition at the Prince's Palace

Seventy years after captivating the entire world, the marriage of Rainier III and Grace Kelly is brought to life once more at the heart of the Prince's Palace. From 8 June to 15 October, the exhibition ‘The Wedding of the Century’ takes visitors and curious onlookers behind the scenes of this extraordinary event, organised in just a few months and watched live by millions of television viewers. Photographs, films, dresses, accessories and personal mementoes retrace a week of celebrations, from the American actress’s arrival in 1956 to her departure on her honeymoon.

To complement this exhibition, Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer has been presenting, since 25 June in the Atrium du Casino de Monte-Carlo, a photographic exhibition of ten images, ‘The Wedding of the Century in Monte-Carlo: 15 & 18 April 1956’, continuing the story of this exceptional anniversary.

The Opéra de Monte-Carlo unveils its 2026–2027 programme

For its fifth season, The Opéra de Monte-Carlo and Cecilia Bartoli will explore the theme of impossible love in 2026–2027. From *Carmen* to *Rigoletto*, via *Porgy and Bess* and *Fidelio*, the season weaves a dramatic narrative in which emotions and fate collide. Combining major productions with more unique offerings, the Opera has put together a packed programme, blending intensity with lighter moments. A season designed as a true emotional journey.

‘Monaco and the Motor Car, from 1893 to the Present Day’: the Grimaldi Forum Monaco’s major summer exhibition

As we know, the automobile and the Principality share a very long love story. From 1 July to 6 September 2026, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco will retrace its greatest moments with the exhibition “Monaco and the Car, from 1893 to the present day” , a spectacular immersion in over 130 years of automotive passion. Spanning 4,000 m², around fifty iconic vehicles – from the winning cars of the Monaco Grand Prix to the legends of the Monte-Carlo Rally – are displayed alongside rare artefacts, previously unseen archive material and treasures from the Princely Family, curated by Rodolphe Rapetti. From concours d’élégance to racing, the motor car is revealed here as an art form, a sport and a heritage deeply rooted in Monegasque history, to be discovered throughout the summer, with advance ticket sales at a preferential rate for those in a hurry.

New exhibition at the Museum of Prehistoric Anthropology: ‘Magies d’Ailleurs’

Monaco’s Museum of Prehistoric Anthropology invites visitors to cross the boundary between the visible and the invisible with its new exhibition, ‘Magies d’Ailleurs ’. Faced with illness, death or the unknown, societies have throughout history devised rituals, stories and objects to come to terms with uncertainty and bring order to chaos. Fetishes, masks, ritual statues and figures of shamans and healers illustrate this transition from the profane to the sacred, and the meaning attributed to everyday actions. These unique practices can be explored daily from 9am to 6pm, with guided tours available on request, until 15 December 2026.
Another immersive exhibition: ‘From Toumaï to Sapiens’ invites visitors to trace the history of humanity, from the earliest tools to artificial intelligence. A captivating journey blending science and storytelling, running until 15 October.
