The 7 main new features for 2026

Visit Monaco’s ‘Monaco, Everything At Once’ campaign

In spring 2026, Visit Monaco unveiled its new international campaign. With ‘Monaco, Everything At Once’, the destination highlights a uniquely Monegasque trait: the ability to bring together, within an area of just 2 km², a wide range of experiences – major sporting events, culinary delights, cultural experiences, wellness retreats, a vibrant nightlife and moments of relaxation by the sea. The creative approach is to showcase the Principality as a multifaceted destination, where visitors can move from one world to another with rare fluidity, and where every stay is tailor-made to suit individual desires and the moment.

The Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Monaco Grand Prix

It is one of the most eagerly anticipated events on the Formula 1 calendar and the biggest event in the Principality: the Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Monaco Grand Prix , which used to be held at the end of May, will now take place over the first weekend in June. The legendary race, which has been running since 1929, was also voted Europe’s best event in 2026 by European Best Destinations, a leading authority in European tourism.

A new Michelin star in the Principality

An event in the land of stars. In 2026, the Principality hosted the Michelin Guide ceremony at the Grimaldi Forum. This is a source of great pride, all the more so given that the Principality has featured in the famous red guide since its very first edition in 1900. This exceptional occasion was particularly memorable for Robuchon Monaco, which was awarded its first Michelin star on home soil. A 14th star has thus been added to the Monegasque constellation, recognising the work of Jonathan Larrieu and his team.

The reopening of the Exotic Garden

It had been sorely missed by locals and visitors alike… After six years of renovation work, the Exotic Garden has finally reopened its doors. Inaugurated by the Prince, this iconic venue, established 95 years ago, now boasts new spaces and redesigned facilities.

The Principality hosts the Grand Départ of the Vuelta

From Thursday 20 to Sunday 23 August 2026, Monaco will be buzzing with the excitement of international cycling as it hosts the Grand Départ of the Vuelta. It is against the unique backdrop of the Principality that the riders will set off for this 81st edition of the Vuelta. Port Hercule, the Place du Casino and the famous bends of the Formula 1 circuit will provide a spectacular urban route for the opening prologue, before the race heads towards neighbouring France and then on to Spain. The choice of Monaco highlights the Principality’s international standing and its commitment to major sporting events. Having hosted the start of the 2009 Tour de France and numerous prestigious competitions, Monaco is once again establishing itself as a global sporting stage.

Several iconic venues undergoing renovation

In 2026, several of the Principality’s iconic venues will continue their transformation. Villa Sauber is undergoing an ambitious restoration and extension project, whilst the Stade Louis II is continuing its modernisation to improve facilities for the public and major sporting events. Rainier III's Zoological Garden and the La Condamine Market , meanwhile, are closed throughout the year to allow for their respective renovation works.

Monaco makes its mark at Europa-Park

This year, the Principality became the 18th country to have its own themed area within Europa Park. With elegant architecture, exclusive experiences and an atmosphere blending prestige and escapism, the new area enhances Monaco’s image among an international audience. The Exotic Garden, the Casino de Monte-Carlo, the Oceanographic Museum, the Circus Festival and motor racing are all showcased amidst settings that delight young and old alike.
